Dukosi has unveiled a new proof‑of‑concept battery management solution developed in collaboration with STMicroelectronics, offering an end‑to‑end platform designed to meet emerging Battery Passport requirements.

Dukosi recently collaborated with STMicroelectronics on a turnkey end-to-end secure Battery Passport-ready battery management solution. The design utilizes the Dukosi chip-on-cell technology with C-SynQ® proprietary communications with ST’s MCU and Secure Element.

In its recent December publication, Electroniques examined the European trial of a cell-level Battery Passport conducted in a Kia EV3. The European Battery Regulation, which mandates the Battery Passport, is due to come into effect in February 2027 – just one year away!

Dukosi Cell Monitors can simultaneously perform an internal resistance (DCIR) test and uniquely capture a direct external temperature reading, providing complementary, synchronous data on cell state, deepening the understanding of how cells generate and propagate heat.
