Dr. Mark Pinto is a technology industry executive who has led diverse, innovative organizations in semiconductors, telecommunications, large area displays and renewable energy.

Before assuming the role as Dukosi CEO, he served on Dukosi’s Board of Directors and was an Operating Partner with the investment firm KCK-US. Prior, he was President and CEO of Blue Danube Systems, a novel 5G radio system start-up that was acquired by NEC Corporation in 2022. From 2004 to 2013, Mark was an Executive Vice President at Applied Materials where he initiated the company’s solar business, and also served as Applied’s CTO.

Mark is a Fellow of the IEEE and a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and is the recipient of several prestigious engineering and business awards.

Joel founded Dukosi in 2003 to transform the performance, safety, and sustainability of battery energy storage systems. Joel is the key inventor of Dukosi technology and holds 29 patents.

Prior to Dukosi, he was Head of Electronics at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre, designing electronic systems for imagers and spectrometers, and at Elektrobit designing systems and circuits for the communications industry. He is a specialist in systems engineering and mixed signal integrated circuit design in many projects, including battery management systems.

Joseph is an accomplished technology industry executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in semiconductors and the automotive sector. Joseph has successfully led business and market development, strategy, R&D, and worldwide sales organizations. He has extensive international experience across the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.

Prior to joining Dukosi, Joseph held various management and executive positions at STMicroelectronics, Fairchild, onsemi, and most recently as COO at Baraja, a global LiDAR technology company, where he led sales, business development, marketing, and customer success groups in engaging with automotive OEM, tier-1 and ecosystem partners.

Mark is a highly driven professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience in strategic marketing and business development in the semiconductor industry. Whether mixed signal ICs and SoCs or complete system solutions, he has a proven track record of managing highly complex products and platforms as well as growing revenue and profit in consumer, industrial, and automotive markets.

Prior to joining Dukosi, he held senior positions at major companies in the semiconductor industry from startups and scaleups to large multi-billion-dollar companies, including XMOS, Renesas, Dialog Semiconductor, Frontier Silicon, and Sony Semiconductor.
