Battery industry leader Dr John Warner joins Dukosi as Board Advisor
Experienced industry figure takes new role with Edinburgh-based battery management innovator
Edinburgh, UK – 22 October 2018 – Dukosi, the developer of disruptive cell based battery management solutions, today announces the appointment of Dr John Warner as an advisor to the company’s Board.
Detroit-based Warner has over 28 years’ experience in the automotive and battery industry, having held senior executive roles at companies including General Motors, EnerDel, XALT Energy, Magna Steyr Battery Systems and Boston-Power. Dr Warner is also President of the global battery industry trade group, NAATBatt International.
The appointment comes as Dukosi moves into advanced trials of its innovative battery management solution to selected target customers in the Lithium Ion battery market, which is predicted to grow to $93B by 2025. Dukosi’s combined hardware and software solution, in its own fully integrated chip, brings previously unseen levels of cell based measurement and monitoring, coupled with patented wireless data transfer.
Dr Warner’s expertise will support Dukosi in driving awareness and adoption of its product into target markets which include Electric Vehicles, Grid Storage and Industrial.
