We would like to welcome our newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Charlie Johnston, as we prepare to bring our disruptive semiconductor chip based battery management solution to market.
Johnston comes to Dukosi from Esterline Technologies Corporation, where he was President of the company’s Advanced Sensors division. Over a distinguished career, he held senior executive positions in commercial, aftermarket and manufacturing roles at global companies including Airbus, Goodrich Corporation (now UTC Aerospace Systems) and GKN Aerospace.
A recurring theme throughout Johnston’s career has been his ability to build effective teams, driving sustainable manufacturing solutions and managing the delivery of industry leading products and services. During his career, he has successfully managed the acquisition of new business, the expansion of market share and has delivered consistent results through the rigorous application of lean initiatives.
“We’re delighted to welcome Charlie to the Dukosi team,” said Clive Scrivener, Dukosi Chairman. “He brings a wealth of international leadership experience, earned primarily in the highly competitive sensor and aerospace industries. Charlie’s background of building high class teams that deliver excellent product is a great addition for Dukosi as we progress toward product launch next year.”
We have developed a unique approach to battery management that acquires, processes and stores discrete data directly at the cell. Using novel wireless technology, the system transmits real-time information on cell health and performance to support master level control of the battery pack. Our ground-breaking approach optimizes system architecture design and management of batteries in electric vehicles, industrial and grid energy storage applications.
